Jackie Cuncannan, LMSW

Jackie Cuncannan, LMSW, works with adults and teens navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, perfectionism, and the demands of career and family life. She specializes in supporting professional women balancing ambitious careers with the challenges and rewards of parenting.

Before becoming a therapist, Jackie earned a law degree from Washington University in St. Louis and practiced law as both a civil rights attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice and in private practice. This background gives her a firsthand understanding of high-pressure professional environments and the challenges of balancing career, family, and personal well-being.

As a working mother, she also brings a grounded, real-world perspective to clients navigating the demands of work, caregiving, and daily life. She focuses on helping clients manage overwhelm and develop sustainable coping strategies.

Jackie’s approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These methods are particularly effective for anxiety, ADHD and depression.

We can speak confidentially about what you’re looking for in a therapist, you can ask questions, and we can get to know each other in a free, introductory call that usually lasts about 15-30 minutes.
