Fees and Insurance

We are an “out of network” provider. We will help you file claims for reimbursement with your insurance company each month.

What is “out of network” (OON)?
OON means that you will pay for services when they are provided using your HSA/FSA card or credit card. We then give you documentation to provide your insurer for reimbursement under your plan. Once you know the procedure for reimbursement for your insurance company, it is usually easy to submit these claims each month.

Fees

Individual therapy
Dr. Peck: $250 per hour
Jackie Cuncannan, LMSW: $150 per hour

Psychological Assessment is billed based on the type of evaluation performed, and the number of tests administered. Testing is followed by written diagnostic feedback and treatment recommendations.

Consultations are billed based on the type and extent of consultation performed.

Sliding Scale: Depending on client need and availability, we are sometimes able to accept a lower rate.

How much will my insurance company reimburse?
Insurance plans vary, but many plans reimburse some or most of the cost of each session. To find out what your OON coverage is, follow these steps before your first visit:

  1. Call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card

  2. Ask them what the reimbursement percentage is for an out of network licensed psychologist if you are working with Dr. Peck, or licensed master’s social worker (LMSW) if you are working with Jackie Cuncannan, LMSW. Most insurance companies will provide you with a percentage of their rate for this area rather than a specific amount.

  3. If they ask for the "CPT code," tell them it is 90837.

  4. Ask them how your deductible affects how much you will be reimbursed

  5. If they do reimburse, ask them for instructions for submitting a claim.  This usually involves uploading documents each month into a portal. Some companies require that these be sent in manually instead.

No matter what the instructions are for your insurer, we will be able to provide you with the forms you need to submit reimbursement claims.

If you do not have insurance, or have insurance but do not plan to submit a claim for reimbursement, you have the right to a good faith estimate of expenses before your first meeting (or at any time at all)! Click below to see a good faith estimate.
