Specialized Therapy
for Adults & Teens
We specialize in three main areas of care:
Anxiety & Depression
Generalized Anxiety
Constant worry, mental chatter, and feeling on edge can drain your focus and joy. We help you recognize unhelpful thought loops and respond to anxiety in new, more flexible ways.
Panic Attacks
If sudden waves of fear, racing heart, or breathlessness seem to come out of nowhere, we can help you understand and interrupt the panic cycle using proven behavioral strategies.
Social Anxiety
Whether it’s public speaking, dating, or everyday interactions, social anxiety can make life feel overwhelming. Therapy focuses on helping you reduce avoidance and engage in life more fully.
Health Anxiety
Persistent fear about illness or physical symptoms can take over your day. We use CBT and exposure-based approaches to reduce reassurance-seeking and regain peace of mind.
Life Transitions & Stress
Big changes—graduating, parenting, changing careers, ending a relationship—can bring unexpected emotional challenges. Therapy can be a space to process, recalibrate, and build clarity around your next steps.
Depression
Persistent sadness, low motivation, and fatigue can make daily life feel overwhelming. We use evidence-based treatments like CBT and ACT to help you shift unhelpful thought patterns, reconnect with your values, and rebuild a sense of purpose.
OCD and Related Disorders
We offer comprehensive, specialized care for OCD, including complex and misunderstood subtypes such as POCD, HOCD, SO-OCD, and ROCD. Using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) - the gold-standard treatment - we change the way your brain processes and responds to intrusive thoughts so that you can regain control of your life.
Body Image (Body Dysmorphia Disorder)
If concerns about your appearance take up more time and energy than you’d like, or interfere with your life, we offer support rooted in body image research and OCD-informed treatment. We have experience treating many subtypes of body image problems, including muscle dysphoria, facial concerns, skin concerns, and hair loss obsessions.
Hoarding
Hoarding is frequently misunderstood and often misdiagnosed. On tv shows, everyone who struggles with throwing out items is treated as if they have the same problem. In the real world, however, some hoarding is a symptom of OCD and some hoarding is not. OCD hoarding requires specialized treatment, and can often become worse if treated as if it were general hoarding. We are experts in the many ways that OCD can manifest, including hoarding, and can help you gain clarity on why you or your loved one hoards and how to help.
Tic Disorders
Tics can be confusing and isolating. We use Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) and related tools to help reduce symptoms and improve function
Tinnitus Distress
If chronic ringing or buzzing in your ears is causing anxiety, sleep problems, or emotional distress, we offer support to reduce reactivity and improve quality of life.
Adolescent & Family Support
Adolescent Adjustment
Teens face complex challenges—from identity and relationships to academic pressure and online life. Therapy supports emotional growth, confidence, and healthy decision-making.
Peer Relationships
We help teens and young adults navigate the challenges of friendship, conflict, and belonging with improved communication and boundaries.
Test Anxiety
High expectations can fuel anxiety and perfectionism. Therapy helps students manage stress and develop skills to perform without burning out.
ADHD
Whether diagnosed or not, focus challenges can affect school, work, and relationships. We offer practical strategies for managing distraction, procrastination, and executive functioning.
Impulse Control
For teens or adults who struggle with acting before thinking, we offer tools for emotional regulation, frustration tolerance, and behavior change.
Parent Consultation
Sometimes, therapy isn’t just about the child—it’s about helping caregivers respond more effectively. We provide guidance and support for parenting challenges.
School Consultation
We collaborate with schools when needed to promote your child’s progress and support parents’ efforts to advocate for appropriate accommodations or services.
